FLCCSA tour of Clipper Ship City of Adelaide

No 1 dock at Wauwa St, Port Adelaide

The volunteer committee of the City of Adelaide Clipper Ship has offered to conduct a special twilight guided tour of the exterior and interior of the historic clipper ship at Port Adelaide. The guide will be lighting the interior of the ship for this special tour, something not usually offered. The cost will be $15 per person, with all money raised going towards the restoration of the ship. We plan to have a drive along the coast with dinner at Port Adelaide as part of the event, meeting at 4:30pm at the car park at Cygnet Court (Esplanade) at Glenelg North. We will leave from there by 4:45pm to meet at the tour site at No 1 dock by 5:30pm, just off Wauwa St. The tour will last for about one hour. If you wish to meet at the clipper site on your own that is fine too. The Birkenhead Tavern across the river, which offers a view of the ship, has been booked for dinner at 7pm. You will be able to order whatever you wish from the extensive menu, if you wish to stay for dinner. Bookings are essential - please call Terry Beaston on 0427 394 686 by Thursday 13th August.
